Verse
James 5:14-15 (NKJV) Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith will save the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up.
Prayer
Lord, today I accept as the absolute truth the amazing teachings of Your Word! You are my Great Physician. I thank You for medical science and I pray they will have even greater breakthroughs and understanding that will benefit all of mankind. But beyond what science can do, I thank You for what You alone can do!
You are God alone! You do mighty and great wonders that cannot be explained. Miracles are done by You, Oh Lord. You raise up those that science and medicine cannot help. I turn to You and I know that when the elders of the church pray for me and I am anointed with oil, that the oil is the symbol of the Holy Spirit. As surely as it touches me, You are touching me. And like the woman who touched the hem of your garment, I am being made whole!
