Greetings, Inspire Church!
I pray that you are feeling blessed, healthy and peaceful during the many challenging times our nation and world are facing. I’m convinced that God is in control and that He will cover us with His grace and favor.
In times of crisis, we must fully depend upon His Presence to lead and guide us, step by step. Just think for a moment of the many times a personal disaster has been averted or a situation altered as you worshiped and put your trust in the amazing promises in His Word! With God as our refuge, we will not fear the storms of life, but will always act in a responsible manner.
Here at Inspire, every member of the family matters to us. Our goal is to provide vital spiritual training for every age group, while complying with the requirements for a safe worship experience.
Let me assure you that adjustments are continually being made in our church schedule so that we can better serve you. Our staff is always searching for improved options and strategies to meet your needs during this unprecedented time of the “unknown.” Among the things we are implementing on the Inspire website is an immediate live streaming of the Sunday services, including the worship, announcements, and preaching.
We were also preparing to comply with the CDC’s original request for no more than 50 people in small group settings, with plenty of space between the worshipers. But the authorities are now asking us to cancel all meetings of 10 or more. For the safety of our members and to comply with these instructions, we are temporarily canceling all services in our facility for the next 15 days.
Please go to the Inspire Church website (inspirechurchhouston.com) and any of our social media icons below to receive encouraging updates, to hear the inspiring, life-giving Word of God, and to participate in worship with other members of our church family. If you haven’t signed up for the texting service or to receive emails from me, I encourage you to do so. I will be sending encouraging texts each day as I pray for our people during this crisis.
Most importantly, we are praying for you and your family. Rather than living in fear of the Coronavirus, let’s act in a responsible manner to stay safe. Take time each day not only to strengthen your personal devotion, but to include your family members in worship, reading God’s Word, and praying for Him to conquer this disease!
Finally, let’s trust the Almighty to do what He does best. May He cover, protect, and build a wall of fire around you! Use every opportunity to encourage and strengthen the faith of those who do not know our precious Savior.
In Jesus’ Name, we will come through this—together!
Be blessed and be INSPIRED!
