Greetings,
Did you know that Christ unites us, but Satan seeks to divide us? This is how Paul describes what Christ does for His people:
Galatians 3:26-28 (NKJV) – “For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. [27] For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ. [28] There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus.”
This is Jesus’ explanation for division:
Matthew 12:25 (NKJV) – “But Jesus knew their thoughts, and said to them: “Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation, and every city or house divided against itself will not stand.”
Just as a marriage or family cannot withstand division, neither can a company, a church, sports team, army, government or nation. Division is the work of the enemy. God wants His people to bring healing to a divided world.
Father, You have made us one. Now, help us understand how to put this revelation into practice in our daily lives. We pray for our brothers and sisters that You would help us live according to the principles of oneness and love.
