Greetings,
We must teach our children about God. While we may outsource other parts of their education to public or Christian schools, to teach subjects such as math, English, and science, God requires us to be personally involved in the spiritual education of our kids.
Psalm 78:5-7 (NKJV) – “For He established a testimony in Jacob, And appointed a law in Israel, Which He commanded our fathers, That they should make them known to their children; [6] That the generation to come might know them, The children who would be born, That they may arise and declare them to their children, [7] That they may set their hope in God, And not forget the works of God, But keep His commandments.”
Father, help me to instill the values that are taught in Your Word to my children and those I love. I want to teach them how to love You and love Your Word with all their hearts! Help me to also set the kind of example with my life that they would want to follow.
