Greetings,
Have you ever really thought about the type of person Jesus is? Have you thought about His character and what He represents, what He stands for and the true nature of God?
Years ago, Pilate had those same thoughts:
John 18:38 (NKJV) – “What is truth?” And when he had said this, he went out again to the Jews, and said to them, “I find no fault in Him at all.”
The answers to our questions can be found in God’s Word. To know Him, we must read His Word. What people “feel” about Him is not enough. Human feelings are notoriously unreliable. What people think about God isn’t sufficient either. His thoughts are as high above our thoughts as the heavens are above the earth.
Study God’s Word daily. Join a program to help you read through the Bible in a year. Pray the Psalms, and you’ll begin to sense His Spirit drawing so much closer. When you truly know Him, you’ll have to agree with Pilate, “I find no fault in Jesus.”
Father, thank You for the truth I find in Your Word. It tells me about You. Help me to know You better and to become more like You.
Today, I’m worshiping with Natalie Grant and “My Weapon.”
