Greetings,
The song, “Oh, What a Savior,” was written many years ago. We cannot help but be overwhelmed by the words of this song when we think about Jesus leaving the splendors of heaven so that we could be made rich by Him!
This scripture is one of my very favorites:
2 Corinthians 8:9 (NKJV) – “For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, that you through His poverty might become rich.”
Think about it: for our sakes, He became poor! Doesn’t that inspire you? He did it all for us!
Jesus, I thank You, thank You, thank You for your many marvelous works … that we might become the children of God!
