Greetings,
During times of great stress and difficulty, it may be hard not to complain. But thankfulness can quickly turn a hardship into a blessing. Notice what happened when Israel complained:
Numbers 11:1 (NKJV) – “Now when the people complained, it displeased the LORD; for the LORD heard it, and His anger was aroused.”
God wanted His people to trust and thank Him for where He was leading them, instead of complaining about where they were. As believers, we are told to give thanks in all things. Why? Not because we’re happy about what we’re going through. No one enjoys sickness or pain, losing their job, or financial hardships. But we can thank Him because we know that God is bringing us out of it!
Had Israel understood this concept, they would have looked beyond their present situation and given God thanks for WHERE He was leading them. I declare today that you are moving into peace, health, prosperity, favor, and blessings!
Today, I’m worshiping with Upper Room and “You Keep on Getting Better.”
