Devotional: Day 163

Greetings,

How much worship is enough? How do we know when we’ve given God enough praise? Scripture instructs us to:

Psalm 150:2 (NKJV) – “Praise Him for His mighty acts; Praise Him ACCORDING to His excellent greatness!”

That could seem to be an unending task. After all, He is more excellent and great than we can fully comprehend. Notice the words of this psalm:

Psalm 106:2 (NKJV) – “Who can utter the mighty acts of the LORD? Who can declare ALL His praise?”

Who can declare ALL His praise? There aren’t enough hours in the day to give Him the praise He deserves. That’s why scripture tells us:

Psalm 113:3 (NKJV) – “From the rising of the sun to its going down The LORD’s name is to be praised.”

Father, today I praise You with my whole heart. You are worthy of more praise than I am even able to give. I want to spend this day praising You for being far more than just “good” to me!

Today, I’m worshiping with Kurt Carr and “Something Happens.”
