Devotional: Day 167

Greetings,

Sometimes, we just want the rain of Heaven to fall upon us. We’re not asking for extra finances or a miracle; we just want Heaven’s rain to fall upon our souls!

We’re much like the dry, dusty ground in the summer time when it’s been so long, we can’t remember the last time it rained. Our souls feel as though they’re cracked, dry, and lifeless.

Until He sends the rain, nothing seems to work right. Our marriages are unproductive and everything we touch seems to be dying. Lord, we need the rain!

Hosea 10:12 (NKJV) – “Sow for yourselves righteousness; Reap in mercy; Break up your fallow ground, For it is time to seek the LORD, till He comes and rains righteousness on you.”

Father, send the rain of Your Holy Spirit upon our souls. Let it fall upon me!

Today, I’m worshiping with Earnest Pugh and “Rain on Us.”
