Devotional: Day 168

Greetings,

My grandmother used to teach me, “Be friendly to everyone, but choose your friends carefully.” That was great advice back then—and still today.

Proverbs 12:26 (NKJV) – “The righteous should choose his friends carefully, For the way of the wicked leads them astray.”

If you want to change your conduct, you must first change your thinking. For that to happen, you must change your context; and that could mean that you must change your companions.

Wrong companions will not allow you to change the way you think. But until your thinking changes, your conduct will remain the same. If your conduct is not changed, your character won’t improve. Wrong friends are sure to lead you astray!

Father God, put the right people in my life who will help me please You.  I don’t want to associate with those who will influence me to do the wrong things. I belong to You!

Today, I’m worshiping with Casting Crowns and “The Change in Me.” https://youtu.be/p8TCZiy5A2A

Remember to wear your mask, wash your hands often with soap, and practice social distancing.

We love you and are praying for you. Be INSPIRED!
