Greetings,
On this Sunday, the day that we celebrate as “Palm Sunday,” the King of kings was received into Jerusalem in what we call the triumphal entry.
Matthew 21:8-9 (NKJV) – “And a very great multitude spread their clothes on the road; others cut down branches from the trees and spread them on the road. [9] Then the multitudes who went before and those who followed cried out, saying: “Hosanna to the Son of David! ‘Blessed is He who comes in the name of the LORD!’ Hosanna in the highest!”
Jerusalem was the main center of business and life in Israel. On Palm Sunday, people welcomed Jesus into Jerusalem, and thus into the center of their busy lives and daily activities. We should too. Rather than just setting one day aside for Him, let’s invite Him to join us in our work and everything else we do throughout the week. Jesus alone has the solutions we need. He holds the keys to living a life of joy and fulfillment, and He does so for all seven days of our week!
Lord Jesus, just as on this day the Jewish people welcomed You into Jerusalem 2,000 years ago, I welcome You to be a part of the affairs and activities of my life each and every day. In fact, I want You to be the center of my life. Hosanna to God in the highest!
My worship for today is with Cody Barnes and “Nothing Else.”
We love you and are praying for you. Be INSPIRED!
