Greetings,
If you could develop a cure for cancer, humanity would line up at your door. They would pay whatever price you asked. You would receive the Nobel prize and be hailed as a hero by world leaders. Your place in history would be secure. Even if the “cure” you had developed only worked half of the time, you would be honored with medals and speeches of tribute.
Beloved, we know that Jesus has done far more for humanity than merely finding a cure for a dangerous and deadly disease. His cure for the deadly contagion to which I’m referring works 100% of the time—not just for half of those who use it. To what am I referring? Why, the blood of Christ, of course! It is the cure for sin! The Bible says:
1 John 1:7 (NKJV) – “But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from ALL sin.”
Thank You, Father, for solving our sin problem. Thank You for the antidote in the blood of Jesus—and for saving me! Death is no longer my end. I get to live victoriously here on earth and then forever with You. The blood of Jesus has given me the access into Your Presence that was prevented by my sinfulness. I love You, so much!
