Devotional: Day 2048

Greetings,

Have you ever thought about the terrible price that Jesus paid to save you? It cost Him His life! What incredible love He has shown to us, that He would die in our place, even before we were born!  But more wonderful is the fact that He loved us and made this provision knowing that we could choose to reject Him. Still He chose to give His life for us rather than leave us undone and without hope. How could we possibly fail to serve Him after He cared after that kind of love?

As the old song goes, “There is a fountain filled with blood, drawn from Immanuel’s veins; and sinners, plunged beneath that flood, lose all their guilty stains.”

Zechariah 13:1 (NKJV) – “In that day a fountain shall be opened for the house of David and for the inhabitants of Jerusalem, for sin and for uncleanness.”

Father, I thank You for the fountain of blood that was opened when Jesus was nailed to the cross and His side was pierced. It has forgiven, washed, and cleansed me from all my sins. Oh, what a Savior! I love You Lord! With all of my soul.

Today, I’m worshiping with Shane and Shane and “There Is a Fountain.”

We love you and are praying for you. Be INSPIRED!
