Devotional: Day 2050

Greetings,

What is your attitude toward the challenges that you are facing today? Angry, resentful, fearful or in doubt? Or instead, are you happy, thankful, positive and believing?

Some folks seem to face a difficult circumstance and sail right through it, while others who face the same situation barely make it through. There is a reason it’s that way. Did you know that your problem sees you the same way you see yourself in relation to it? Look at what happened to the Israelites:

Numbers 13:33 (NKJV) – “There we saw the giants (Anak’s descendants came from the giants); and we were like grasshoppers in our own sight, and so we were in their sight.”

When you think of yourself as being easily defeated by the enemy, that’s how he sees you. But when you see yourself as victorious, that’s how he sees you too! If you consider yourself to be weak and defenseless, the enemy knows you are fearful and afraid. However, when you think of yourself as being strong, gifted, and unwavering, the problem you’re confronting sees you in that same way–and will melt before you!

Lord, help me to see myself as You see me—as a strong, capable overcomer. By Your great power and strength I can do all things, because You are strengthening me today. I stand in Your ability which is unlimited, and not my own which is small. Thank you!

Today, I’m worshiping with Natalie Grant and “I Praise You in This Storm.”

We love you and are praying for you. Be INSPIRED!
