Greetings,
Being obedient does not add to God, but it greatly benefits us. What do I mean by that? God is complete with or without anything I can do. However, rich dividends will be paid to those who obey God’s Word!
Deuteronomy 5:32-33 (NKJV) – “Therefore you shall be careful to do as the LORD your God has commanded you; you shall not turn aside to the right hand or to the left. [33] You shall walk in all the ways which the LORD your God has commanded you, that you may live and that it may be well with you, and that you may prolong your days in the land which you shall possess.“
Obedience is what establishes you in your Promised Land. No one wants to be blessed—and then lose the blessing as soon as you’re attacked by the enemy. We want to move into our Promised Land and remain there, without losing the promotion, the elevation, or the miracle God has just given us!
Father, help me to honor You with my life. Help me to keep Your commands and live by the principles of Your Word. This day, may they guide and direct my steps. I want to bring You glory in all that I do. You are so amazing because in turn, You cause the undeserved blessings that You have given me in the first place to become a permanent part of my life. You gave Israel the Promise Land to be handed down generationally to their children and grandchildren. I thank You because my descendants are being elevated too. You are a good God!
