Have you had one of those “rough days” recently? Maybe you’ve had more than one? Does it perhaps seem that you’ve had a whole lot of them? If you’ve been thinking that you may never smile again because of all those bad days, I have some incredible news for you. Are you ready?
Our Jesus is alive! He conquered death, hell and the grave, and rose again!
John 14:19b (NKJV) – “. . . Because I live, you will live also.”
That’s enough to put a smile on anyone’s face! So don’t let the enemy steal your joy—because the joy of the Lord is your strength. Think about it! His joy is where our strength comes from!
Father, today I thank You for the joy You’ve given me. And since the world didn’t give it to me, as the old song goes, the world can’t take it away! Knowing that death, hell and the grace have been conquered puts a smile on my face. You have gone the extra mile, and You did it for me! I love You!
