Devotional: Day 2098

Greetings,

Do you ever become weary facing the many problems you encounter in this broken world? Do you ever become exhausted with the tests and trials, disappointments, and setbacks that come in life? Yes, we all do. But here is a promise we can stand upon:

Isaiah 43:2 (NKJV) – “When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, Nor shall the flame scorch you.”

God did not say, “if” you go through difficult places, but “when!” We are living in a broken world that is ruled over by a fallen lord. Therefore we are sure to encounter a host of obstacles along the way. Our enemy’s sworn objective is to cause us conflict, loss and pain. He is constantly creating new challenges and difficulties, all in hopes of making us stumble and fall.

But now the good news: we are not alone! God is our constant companion. He is our strength in the middle of every problem and situation. We don’t have to deal with them by ourselves. He will always be with us!

Lord, I thank You for being an ever present help in time of trouble! That’s better than having an army to defend me. It’s better than owning a hundred banks and having my own team of specialists to take care of my health. You are an amazing God. I love and praise You.

Today, I’m worshiping with Israel and “It’s Not Over.”

We love you and are praying for you. Be INSPIRED!
