Greetings,
Isn’t God good to us? He never gives us what we deserve, does He? I for one am glad for that! If we were rewarded with what we truly deserve, who could survive it? That’s because we have all sinned and come short of the glory of God. But we shouldn’t despair. Look at this promise:
Psalm 103:10-14 (NKJV) – “He has not dealt with us according to our sins, Nor punished us according to our iniquities. [11] For as the heavens are high above the earth, So great is His mercy toward those who fear Him; [12] As far as the east is from the west, So far has He removed our transgressions from us. [13] As a father pities (loves deeply and has compassion upon) his children, So the LORD pities (loves deeply and has compassion upon) those who fear Him. [14] For He knows our frame; He remembers that we are dust.”
When we deserved judgment, God loved us, had compassion on us, and forgave us! So again let me say, we serve a good God!
Lord, thank You for loving me and having mercy on me when I was undeserving of Your kindness. I love You, Lord. You have been so good to me! I thank You for covering my sins which were many, and giving me Your righteousness as my own.
