Greetings,
Never assume that you are powerless, no matter how terrible the situation you may be facing is. Why? Because, as a child of God, you are stronger than your wildest dreams!
Acts 1:8 (NKJV) – “But you shall receive POWER when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”
The Greek word for ‘power’ is dunamis. In our day, it would be translated as ‘dynamo’ or ‘dynamite.’ When God took up residence in your life, you were filled with the One who created the universe. Imagine what that means! You are not a weak or insignificant person; you’re strong and powerful!
Lord, I thank You for living inside of me. Thank You for giving me the power to overcome, to change the world that I live in and to be a witness to others. Help me live by the power of Your Holy Spirit and not by my own.
