Greetings,
Sometimes, what we need is the rain of Heaven to fall upon us. There are times that extra finances or a miracle isn’t what matters most. What our hearts thirst for is the sweet rain of the Holy Spirit to fall upon our souls!
We can become like the dry, dusty ground in the summertime when you can hardly remember the last time it rained. It seems as though our souls are dry, cracked, and lifeless as the soil.
Until God sends the rain, nothing seems to work right. Marriages are unproductive, we become irritable and short-tempered and everything we touch seems to wither. Lord, we need the rain!
Hosea 10:12 (NKJV) – “Sow for yourselves righteousness; Reap in mercy; Break up your fallow ground, For it is time to seek the LORD, till He comes andrains righteousness on you.”
Father, send the rain of Your Holy Spirit upon our souls. Let it fall upon me! Rain upon my heart until I’m saturated with Your Spirit. Rain until my soul flourishes and is alive again. Rain until I thrive in Your presence once more. I need Your Spirit to rain upon me.
