Greetings,
Things don’t always turn out the way we had hoped, do they? But does that mean that God didn’t hear us when we prayed? Does it mean that He doesn’t care? No, of course not. He always loves us and wants what is best for us.
Proverbs 3:5-6 (NKJV) – “Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; [6] In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.”
The problem is that we really don’t always know what is best for us. Even when we’re experiencing pain, our light affliction is accomplishing something far greater than we can imagine. Perhaps in our moments of being broken we may experience a greater measure of God’s glory.
Lord Jesus, I want to know You, not only in the power of Your resurrection, but also in the fellowship of Your sufferings. Help me, even in my brokenness, to trust You to always work things out for my best. Use everything that I am going through to bring glory to You. I know that You are a good God and love me more than I can imagine. I love You!
Today, I’m worshiping with Matt Redman and Tasha Cobbs Leonard and “Gracefully Broken.”
We love you and are praying for you. Be INSPIRED!
