Devotional: Day 2157

Greetings,

Have you ever noticed the connection between the Presence of God and having a prosperous life?

Psalm 132:13-16 (NKJV) – “For the LORD has chosen Zion; He has desired it for His dwelling place: [14] “This is My resting place forever; Here I will dwell, for I have desired it. [15] I will abundantly bless her provision; I will satisfy her poor with bread. [16] I will also clothe her priests with salvation, And her saints shall shout aloud for joy.”

Wherever God’s Presence is enthroned, poverty will soon be banished. When we seek the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, all the other things we desire will become a bonus. But if we seek other things first—instead of God’s Presence, life becomes a daily struggle. When we do not exalt Him, we must deal with unrighteousness, crime, poverty and the terrible by-products of not putting Christ first in our lives and society.

Today, we seek You first; not other things and then You. You are foremost on my agenda today. I want to live for You, learn more about You, grow closer to You and introduce others to You. May my life and my worship exalt and lift You up. May it be pleasing to You.

Today, I’m worshiping with William McDowell and “Hymn of Praise.”

We love you and are praying for you. Be INSPIRED!
