Greetings,
A simple encounter with God in worship can change your life!
Proverbs 16:6 (NKJV) – “In mercy and truth Atonement is provided for iniquity; And by the fear of the LORD one departs from evil.”
The Bible says that the ‘fear’ of the Lord causes us to depart from evil. What does that mean? This type of fear refers to a holy reverence for God, or to be in ‘awe’ of God.
In Isaiah, chapter 6, the prophet’s life was transformed when he saw the Lord, high and lifted up. Apparently, Isaiah’s speech had been unclean because this encounter with God transformed and cleansed his lips! Can you imagine what would happen if each of us had such a personal encounter with God?
Father, we desire to know You and lift You high, that You may be enthroned in our praise as we worship You with all of our hearts! Your Presence gives us life. It transforms and delivers us. There is healing in Your Presence and in You we find fulness of joy. Help me to abide in Your Presence today.
