Devotional: Day 2253

Greetings,

The prayer of an intercessor has the power to change what would otherwise result in tragedy and sorrow. Notice what God said to Ezekiel:

Ezekiel 22:30-31 (NKJV) – “So I sought for a man among them who would make a wall, and stand in the gap before Me on behalf of the land, that I should not destroy it; but I found no one. [31] Therefore I have poured out My indignation on them; I have consumed them with the fire of My wrath; and I have recompensed their deeds on their own heads,” says the Lord GOD.”

You have the power to intercede for your family and friends—and even our nation! Did you know this passage of scripture actually referred to God’s search for an intercessor—for the nation of Judah? An intercessor can spare an entire nation from impending judgment!

Father, I pray today that You would spare our nation from Your judgment and wrath. Would you turn the leaders of our nation from their present course to You, oh God? Speak to all of us. Deal with our hearts, university professors, Hollywood entertainers, politicians, business leaders, Christian leaders, and those who have been leading our country in the wrong direction. Turn us back to the cross!

Today, I’m worshiping with Rebecca St. James and “Dawn.”

We love you and are praying for you. Be INSPIRED!
