Devotional: Day 2257

Greetings,

Do you know just how much you matter to God? This is what the Prophet Zechariah said:

Zechariah 2:8 (NKJV) – “For thus says the LORD of hosts: “He sent Me after glory, to the nations which plunder you; for he who touches you touches the apple of His eye.”

For God to call you “the apple of His eye,” means that He feels great joy every time He looks at you! It means that you are special to Him. Isn’t that amazing? He loves and cherishes you. You really do matter to God, even if you don’t feel like it.

Father, I’m so thankful for the inexpressible love You have for each one of us. That You could love us so much is beyond my comprehension. As the psalmist David wrote, “Who is man that You are mindful of him?” Sometimes I feel so flawed that I don’t feel You could possibly love me so completely. Please help me to accept and receive Your love! I want to love You the way You love me.

Today I’m worshiping with the Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir and “It Will Be Worth It All.”

We love you and are praying for you. Be INSPIRED!
