Devotional: Day 2267

Greetings,

True humility isn’t feeling worthless or despising who you are. To the contrary, the King of Kings has declared that you are worth everything to Him!

Humility isn’t arguing that God is mistaken about you. It accepting what He has said about you as the truth. Now, let’s see what He really thinks about you:

Revelation 1:6 (NKJV) – “…and has made us kings and priests to His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.”

God’s Word has declared that you are both a king and a priest! Apostle Peter added that you are “a member of a royal priesthood.” But what does that mean? A “priest” refers to the vertical or spiritual aspect of our lives. We minister to God with our worship, our lives, our time, and resources. When the Queen of Sheba saw how Solomon ministered to God, she was so moved that it took her breath away. She actually fainted!

For us to be ‘kings” speaks of the horizontal dimension of our existence. For a king to successfully rule and reign, he must possess great authority and resources, then use them wisely, right? This proves that God never intended for you to be crushed by life’s problems or to struggle and barely get by.

My Father, when others see my devotion to You and Your blessings upon my life, I pray they will desire to know You too, for You are a God who delights in blessing His people! Help me live out my potential as a priest in my worship and as a king in my daily life.

Today, I’m worshiping with Dante Bowe and “Revival’s In The Air.”

We love you and are praying for you. Be INSPIRED!
