Child of God, never forget that the Lord is FOR you! Because of what He said in His Word, I can assure you that He is on your side:
Psalm 56:9 (NKJV) – “When I cry out to You, Then my enemies will turn back; This I know, because GOD IS FOR ME.”
We were born into this world as sinners who desperately needed a Savior. Therefore we must make a conscious decision to surrender our hearts and lives to Christ. But even after receiving salvation, many continue to think of themselves as guilty, like a criminal standing before a righteous Judge. Yet nothing could be further from the truth! Such an erroneous understanding cannot help but hinder your prayers and your worship!
Because of His grace, God sought you out and then saved you. Jesus cared so much for you, that He willingly suffered the terrible penalty of crucifixion that you could be saved. Let’s rejoice in the fact that God is on our side! Each one of us is highly favored and loved by God!
Today, Lord Jesus, I declare that what You have said about me is true. I am clean, I am forgiven and I am Yours. You have accepted me and I thank You for paying such a horrific price to love me. I affirm that You are for me and not against me.
