Greetings,
We must never forget that Jesus is the healer of every sickness and disease!
Matthew 8:16-17 (NKJV) – “When evening had come, they brought to Him many who were demon-possessed. And He cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were sick, [17] that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying: “He Himself took our infirmities And bore our sicknesses.”
If God had only provided salvation for mankind, that would have been more than we deserved. But, the atonement also included healing for our sicknesses and diseases. Isn’t that amazing?
Whether we receive a supernatural healing through prayer, or it comes through the treatment of a physician and medication, I am so grateful that God cares about our pain and suffering and that we can be healed. If you are ill today, I’m glad that we can call upon the Name of Jesus and receive the healing that He purchased with painful lashes laid upon His back.
Dear Lord, I thank You for the stripes You willingly received for my healing. I love You and thank You for caring so much for me. You created me, and I know that if You can create the marvel of the human body, You can heal me as well. Thank You for healing!
