Greetings,
After suffering losses, you can often be tempted to believe that you no longer have a future. You might feel that it’s all over for you, and the best thing you can do is just wait for your reward in heaven.
When it seemed Israel had lost everything, this is what God spoke to the remnant of His people:
Zechariah 8:12 (NKJV) – “For the seed shall be prosperous, The vine shall give its fruit, The ground shall give her increase, And the heavens shall give their dew. I will cause the remnant of this people To possess all these.”
God said the remnant that remained would be prosperous, the vines would continue to bring forth fruit, the ground would give increase again, and those who remained from the captivity would be greatly blessed. And that’s what happened!
Don’t give up on yourself. God hasn’t given up on you. If you are still standing, know that He still intends to bless you!
Father, we are thankful for Your immutable promises that can never be forgotten. You will cause EVERY WORD to come to pass— and for all these precious promises, and also Your commitment to me, I worship You!
