Greetings,
Because our God is the Lord of the Harvest, we know He can bring us into seasons of accelerated harvests. Look at this promise.
Amos 9:13 (NKJV) – “Behold, the days are coming,” says the LORD, “When the plowman shall overtake the reaper, And the treader of grapes him who sows seed; The mountains shall drip with sweet wine, And all the hills shall flow with it.”
God’s Word declared that days were coming when the harvest would be so abundant that before one harvest could end another season of prosperity would begin. What is so amazing about this promise is that it was given during a time when Israel desperately needed hope. They had been living in rebellion.
Not only did God promise forgiveness but He also assured them they would experience accelerated harvests instead of dire need!
I thank You, my Lord, for Your forgiveness—even when our hearts are cold and indifferent toward You. Thank You for stirring the fire of Your Holy Spirit within our hearts. Thank You for promising to give us accelerated seasons of blessing even after terrible times of loss. I love You!
