Greetings,
Rain is vital to our human existence. Without it, crops would die, orchards would wither and livestock would perish. We also need the spiritual rain that God provides for our souls.
Ezekiel 34:26 (NKJV) – “I will make them and the places all around My hill a blessing; and I will cause showers to come down in their season; there shall be showers of blessing.”
The Lord promised that the life-giving rain of the Holy Spirit would descend upon Mt. Zion, or His church. In fact, He assures us that we can depend upon heavenly showers of blessings to fall upon us.
Do you need God’s rain to pour upon you? He can open heaven over your thirsty soul that you may drink deeply and fully from His abundant, life-giving rain!
Rain upon us, Lord! Let Your showers come down upon the dusty soil of our hearts. Let it keep flowing until Your Spirit becomes a river that overflows its banks. We ask You to turn this sin-parched earth into a beautiful garden oasis. Send us Your rain.
