Greetings,
We must each learn how to pursue God, rather than being content for Him to pursue us.
Psalm 42:1 (NKJV) – “As the deer pants for the water brooks, So pants my soul for You, O God.”
Oh, how I thirst for God! I’ve spent my life desiring Him, and I can tell you that doing so will reward you well! Christ sought for me and you, and then He saved us. But how close we stay to Him will depend upon how willing we are to pursue after Him!
Knowing God is the greatest privilege of our lives. Think about it: a mere mortal can actually have a relationship with the Creator of the universe!
I want to know You, Lord! I long for You like a deer searching for a water brook in a dry wilderness. You satisfy me like no one else can. I love You for quenching the thirst of my soul.
