Greetings,
Have you ever considered the fact that God commands us to be strong and to reject fear and anxiety? Read this, and you’ll see what I mean:
Joshua 1:9 (NKJV) – “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.”
God is so interested in our frame of mind and the emotions we feel, He commands us to be strong, both emotionally and mentally. We must refuse to be afraid or anxious. It is a choice. To consistently dwell in fear and anxiety could be harmful to our health.
But how can we put into practice this command to be strong and of good courage? It must begin in our thoughts. God wants us to know that our “Abba Father” will always stay beside us and that we’re never alone. So, if our emotions are the result of our thoughts, and our actions are based upon our emotions, you can see how important it is to control our thoughts!
Thank You, Lord, for your promise to never leave or forsake me and to be with me wherever I go. I love You for being so faithful to keep Your Word!
Today, I am worshiping with William McDowell and “Loss for Words.”
We love you and are praying for you. Be INSPIRED!
