Devotional: Day 2359

Greetings,

Read with me in Luke 22:31-32 (NKJV) – “And the Lord said, “Simon, Simon! Indeed, Satan has asked for you, that he may sift you as wheat. [32] But I have prayed for you, that your faith should not fail; and when you have returned to Me, strengthen your brethren.”

Have you ever noticed how stress and challenges can either draw people in a relationship closer together or drive them farther apart? The enemy is always trying to weaken our faith and separate us from God’s love with difficult situations.

Long ago I decided to let my problems draw me closer to God rather than allowing distress to weaken my devotion for Him. When we are stressed, tempted or discouraged, we should “lean in” toward God, rather than “away” from Him.

Lord, I’m so glad that I can lean on Your everlasting arms! You are the most stable factor in my life. Things come and go but not You. You are always here beside me. You have this amazing way of causing what the enemy thought would surely lessen my devotion, to instead make it stronger. I love You!

Today, I’m worshiping with FBCG and “I Really Love the Lord.”

We love you and are praying for you. Be INSPIRED!
