Greetings,
Sometimes, we just need a breakthrough! Whether it’s spiritual, financial, with our health, in our marriage, or for our kids, we need God to show up and do what only He can. Could this be one of those times for you? You are not alone. We all face them because we live in a fallen world.
The writer of this psalm felt that way, too!
Psalm 144:5 (TPT) – “Step down from heaven, Lord, and come down! Make the mountains melt at your touch. Loose your fiery lightning flashes and scatter your enemies. Overthrow them with your terrifying judgments. Reach down from your heavens and rescue me from this hell, and deliver me from these dark powers.”
One thing is sure: regular and consistent prayer works! Not only is it a deposit in your heavenly bank account that will ensure a breakthrough when the time is right, it will also give you strength to carry on UNTIL the breakthrough comes!
Lord, we ask You to step down from heaven and act on behalf of Your children! Overthrow the enemy forces of darkness. Rescue Your people, this nation, and our world from the dark powers of destruction! Rescue marriages and people caught in the web of deceit and addictions. Rescue those who need a physical or financial breakthrough. Thank You for hearing us today. In Jesus’ Name!
