Greetings,
Our obedience does not benefit God. As God, He is complete and there isn’t anything I can do to add to Him. However, our obedience does greatly benefit us. What do I mean by that? Incredible dividends come to those who obey God’s Word!
Deuteronomy 5:32-33 (NKJV) – “Therefore you shall be careful to do as the LORD your God has commanded you; you shall not turn aside to the right hand or to the left. [33] You shall walk in all the ways which the LORD your God has commanded you, that you may live and that it may be well with you, and that you may prolong your days in the land which you shall possess.“
Obedience is what establishes you in your Promised Land. No one wants to be blessed—and then lose their blessing as soon as they are attacked by the enemy. We want to receive God’s blessings and hold the promotion, elevation, or the miracle that God has just given to us!
Father, help me to honor You with my life. Help me to live by Your instructions and the principles found in Your Word. This day, let them guide and direct my steps. I want to bring You glory in all that I do. You are so amazing! You cause undeserved blessings that You have graciously given to me to become a permanent part of my life. Then You bless my family. You gave Israel the Promise Land and they were able to hand it down generationally to their children and grandchildren. I thank You because as you bless me, my descendants are being elevated too. You are a good God!
Today, I’m worshiping with Bebe Winans and “Any Day Now.”
We love you and are praying for you. Be INSPIRED!
