Devotional: Day 2425

Greetings,

Have you considered today how your life can make a difference in this world for good? One of the most important questions we could ever ask ourselves is: “What will be my legacy when I die?” No one wants to leave this world without knowing they have made this world a better place.

Notice what scripture says about Jehoram, one of the wicked kings who ruled over Judah:

2 Chronicles 21:20 (NKJV) – “He was thirty-two years old when he became king. He reigned in Jerusalem eight years and, TO NO ONE’S SORROW, departed. However they buried him in the City of David, but not in the tombs of the kings.”

No one missed Jehoram or was even sorrowful when he died. What a sad commentary about a person’s life. My desire is to serve others daily and make a difference in the way they live—for God and for good! Jesus made His life count!

Father, help me to make a difference in someone’s life today. Use me. Help me to make the world a better place while I’m here on earth. May I be more interested in what I can do for others than what they can do for me. I pray that You will work through me today. Help me to recognize every opportunity You give me to serve You by helping others.

Today, I’m worshiping with Josie Buchanan and “Whatever Your Plan Is.”
