Greetings,
Think about this: God chose us! We didn’t choose Him.
Deuteronomy 7:6 (NKJV) – “For you are a holy people to the LORD your God; the LORD your God has chosen you to be a people for Himself, a special treasure above all the peoples on the face of the earth.”
We are God’s highly valued, special treasure. Can you grasp what that really means? If He loved gold, silver or precious gems, God could have created an entire universe consisting of them. But that’s not what He treasures; it is you and me. What He desires most is our worship and devotion. Our praise is precious to Him.
Dear Jesus, today I offer You my highest praise! There is no one like You, Lord. You are the best thing that has ever happened to me. Ten thousand tongues could never express my love for You! I find it amazing that You would choose me as Your most valued possession. Such a wonder is too glorious to comprehend, but from my heart I thank You.
