Devotional: Day 2430

Greetings,

Did you know that by choosing to live according to the guiding principles of God’s Word, you are sowing righteousness and God promises that you will reap mercy?

Hosea 10:12 (NKJV) – “Sow for yourselves righteousness; Reap in mercy; Break up your fallow ground, For it is time to seek the LORD, Till He comes and rains righteousness on you.”

To sow righteousness doesn’t mean that we will never sin or do something wrong. But if we will repent and turn our hearts toward God, and begin to do what is right and good, He will cancel the seed that should have produced a harvest of pain and punishment. He will cancel the anguish and stress that would have sprung up as well. In its place we will reap joy and happiness.

Father, let the rain of Your Holy Spirit fall fresh upon me. Though I don’t deserve it, pour out Your mercy upon me. I’m so thankful that You have forgiven me for my past mistakes and cancelled the terrible harvest I should have reaped. I love You, Lord! Thank You for better days and good things that are coming my way.

Today, I’m worshiping with James Wilson and “Love Me Anyway.”
