Devotional: Day 2431

Greetings,

I encourage you to hold on to the promises of God. You may have to fight to do so and it certainly won’t be easy, but God will always be there to strengthen and encourage you. When He delivered Israel from Egyptian slavery, He promised to give them the land of Canaan for their possession. Scripture confirms that He fulfilled every word of that promise:

Joshua 21:43-45 (NKJV) – “So the LORD gave to Israel all the land of which He had sworn to give to their fathers, and they took possession of it and dwelt in it. [44] The LORD gave them rest all around, according to all that He had sworn to their fathers. And not a man of all their enemies stood against them; the LORD delivered all their enemies into their hand. [45] Not a word failed of any good thing which the LORD had spoken to the house of Israel. All came to pass.”

No, the battles weren’t easy. For five years, Israel had to fight to possess their land even after they crossed over Jordan, but it finally became their own! If you will refuse to let go of God’s promises, His Word will always come to pass. You will receive His promises. Beloved, If He has given you a Word, keep believing!

Heavenly Father, I thank You for having an incredible future planned for me. Sometimes in middle of the fight, it seems that the enemy won’t let me have what You promised is mine. Give me the faith to keep believing and pressing on toward victory. In You, I know victory is certain. That’s because You are with me every step of the way and are fighting for me. I love You with all of my heart.

Today, I’m worshiping with Vicki Yohe and “I Just Want You.”
