Greetings,
God has a way of letting us come from behind to win in the last minutes of the game. Sometimes the enemy forgets this and rejoices too soon. It’s much like the last few seconds of the Super Bowl; your team is trailing and the opposing team has already begun to celebrate.
But then out of nowhere a pass comes sailing across the field to a receiver who is wide open. Touch down! Your team has won.
This has happened time and time again in scripture. Think about Joseph in Egypt, Israel at the Red Sea, David before Goliath, and Daniel in the lion’s den. Are you beginning to understand how committed God is to you—even if at the moment it looks like there’s no way possible for you to make it?
Because God always has the final say, when you get knocked down, keep getting up! When it seems so dark that the sun couldn’t possibly shine again, keep believing!
Micah 7:8 (NKJV) – “Do not rejoice over me, my enemy; When I fall, I will arise; When I sit in darkness, The LORD will be a light to me.”
Father, today I thank You for giving me the assurance that even when I stumble and fall, You will always help me back to my feet. I realize that I’m not perfect, but You are; I’m also weak, while You are strong. So I declare today that by Your grace I will recover from whatever comes my way. Because of Your commitment to me, I’m going to make it. Thank You, Lord!
Today, I’m worshiping with Paul McClure and “Reign Above It All.”
We love you and are praying for you. Be INSPIRED!
