Devotional: Day 2450

Greetings,

My greatest calling is to be a worshiper of God. I will worship Him as long as I live. Then, when I get to heaven, I will worship our God for all eternity. I was born for this purpose, and I’m most fulfilled as a person when I am in His Holy Presence.

Psalm 57:9-11 (NKJV) – “I will praise You, O Lord, among the peoples; I will sing to You among the nations. [10] For Your mercy reaches unto the heavens, And Your truth unto the clouds. [11] Be exalted, O God, above the heavens; Let Your glory be above all the earth.”

No one can live in this broken world without being wounded, and receiving at least a few scars in the process. We have all faced our share of heartaches and loss; but worshiping God will take you through every one of those difficult times and situations. If you’ve never tried it, lean into Him the next time you come up against a big challenge. Worship God and watch how your problems shrink in comparison to His greatness.

Father, I look to You in worship. I bow before Your majesty and beauty. There is no one like You. You alone are the majestic King of Kings. You reign in majesty. You are my God, and I trust You.

Today, I’m worshiping with Phil Driscoll and “I Exalt Thee.”
