Greetings,
God ALWAYS wants what is best for us, the same way we want the best for our own children. In His Word God reveals His perfect will for us. We cannot help but prosper if we live in the middle of the will of God.
Psalm 143:10 (NKJV) – “Teach me to do Your will, For You are my God; Your Spirit is good. Lead me in the land of uprightness.”
What is God’s will for us during the troubled times so common today? For one, God wants us to live in unity and harmony with our families and each other.
John 17:20-21 (NKJV) – “I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word; [21] that they may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; That they also may be one In Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me.”
It is this “oneness” among believers and our love for each other that will convince the world that our message is true and that Christ is with us. After all, in the entire history of mankind, no one has successfully brought unity to our fallen world, or abolished racism and prejudice. Many have tried but failed. Christ wants us to model His love to the world by allowing Him to shine through our lives.
People think they can do it through education, yet campuses have become among the most intolerant places on earth. Strange isn’t it, that the more educated humanity becomes, the closer the world edges toward annihilation? We are more educated than ever before and yet closer to an extinction event like a nuclear war than we ever have been. Without the Prince of Peace there is no peace. Or as the bumper sticker says, NO JESUS NO PEACE, KNOW JESUS KNOW PEACE.
Father, love the world through me. Give me a heart that cares for everyone and the patience to show people kindness. You cared for me. It changed my life. Allow me to become the conduit through which grace is given to a broken world.
Today, I’m worshiping with Rheva Henry and “Here Again.”
We love you and are praying for you. Be INSPIRED!
