Greetings,
Just before Israel entered a period of 400 years when there was no prophet, vision, or a Word from God, there was only silence from heaven when they prayed. As God explained through the Prophet Malachi, their attitude was responsible for a closed heaven.
Malachi 1:13 (NKJV) – “You also say, ‘OH, WHAT A WEARINESS!’ And you sneer at it,” Says the LORD of hosts. “And you bring the stolen, the lame, and the sick; Thus you bring an offering! Should I accept this from your hand?” Says the LORD.”
Many of God’s people had begun to feel that going to church was a drudgery or a “weariness.” Instead of offering Him their best sacrificial animals, they were bringing Him the sick and lame.
How do you feel about going to God’s House to offer Him praise? Do you look forward to being in church or is it a nuisance to get up and get dressed on Sunday morning and drive a few miles to worship Him? Our hearts should be overwhelmed with joy at the thought of going to the House of the Lord!
Father, today I want to worship You with all my heart! My soul longs to enter Your Presence with other believers and to fervently worship You in spirit and in truth!
Today, I’m worshiping with Clint Brown and “I Have a Friend.”
Remember to wear your mask, wash your hands often with soap, and practice social distancing.
We love you and are praying for you. Be INSPIRED!
Pastor
