Greetings,
It’s important that we discern which things in life are truly valuable:
Matthew 26:6-9 (NKJV) – “And when Jesus was in Bethany at the house of Simon the leper, [7] a woman came to Him having an alabaster flask of very costly fragrant oil, and she poured it on His head as He sat at the table. [8] But when His disciples saw it, they were indignant, saying, “Why this waste? [9] For this fragrant oil might have been sold for much and given to the poor.”
The disciples grumbled because they only considered the worth of Mary’s perfume instead of the greater worth of the One whom she was anointing.
How many of us have failed to determine the value of what is right before our eyes! Have we underestimated the worth of our spouse, our children, our health, or our friends? What about the freedom to worship, attend church, and so much more?
Lord, You are more valuable than anything else in my life. May I never overlook the tremendous worth of the One I serve. You are the fairest of ten thousand to my soul!
Today, I’m worshiping with Paul McClure and “To Sing His Praise Again.”
Remember to wear your mask, wash your hands often with soap, and practice social distancing.
We love you and are praying for you. Be INSPIRED!
Pastor
