Devotional: Day 296

Greetings,

Why are we still alive? Is it because we are so gifted and intelligent that the world cannot endure without us? Or, have we been so good, we deserve to be here?

Lamentations 3:22-25 (NKJV) – “Through the LORD’s mercies we are not consumed, Because His compassions fail not. [23] They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness.”

Because of God’s mercies, we are still living. He is merciful beyond description and so very kind. When we deserved judgment, He gave us love instead. Can we ever thank Him enough for all He has done—which we’ve done nothing to deserve?

Thank You, my Lord, for loving me, for being merciful and good, and for forgiving me. You are the greatest! I love You!

Today, I’m worshiping with the Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir and “Love Lifted Me.”
