Devotional: Day 30

Greetings,

Bad news sells. The media learned that long ago.

According to the old joke, a man was standing on a bridge getting ready to jump. After a passerby called 911, a policeman came and told the man, “Don’t jump. It can’t be that bad. I’ll tell you my problems and then you tell me yours.“ The man told the policeman his problems and the policeman told the man his. Then they both jumped.

Bad news affects everyone. It can rob you of hope and increase stress—which can weaken your immune system. But good news is much more effective. It can actually change your thinking! And when that happens, you’ll have the power to change your circumstances!

Philippians 4:8 (NKJV) – “Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy, meditate on these things.”

Heavenly Father, help us not to worry and dwell on things that we cannot control. Instead, may we trust in Your goodness, for You are a GOOD GOD! I claim Your covering and protection over all of our families. In Jesus’ Name!

Today, I’m worshiping with Kari Jobe and Cody Carnes and “The Blessing.”https://youtu.be/p7Jff1fWJO0

Remember to stay at home as much as possible, wash your hands often with soap, don’t touch your face and practice social-distancing.

We love you and are praying for you. Be INSPIRED!
