Greetings,
We can expect to be tested. It usually happens just before God advances to the next level.
Zechariah 13:9 (NKJV) – “I will bring the one-third through the fire, Will refine them as silver is refined, And test them as gold is tested. They will call on My name, And I will answer them. I will say, ‘This is My people’; And each one will say, ‘The LORD is my God.'”
To be promoted, we must first prove that we’re ready for a higher level. That’s why we’re tested in school. It’s not to give us a hard time. If we’re promoted to a new level without being tested, we’ll experience setbacks and delays later in life.
Lord, refine us—but never discard or give up on us. If you’ll purify and teach us Your ways, we will become more like You.
