Greetings,
What keeps you going during the adversities of life and your rough times? The psalmist declared that his delight in God’s Word kept him from perishing:
Psalm 119:92 (NKJV) – “Unless Your law had been my delight, I would then have perished in my affliction.”
What did he mean that his delight in God’s Law kept him from perishing, or “going under” in times of adversity? I believe it was holding on to God’s promises and constantly believing, no matter how difficult the circumstances. He delighted in the promises and guidance that are found in God’s Law.
Dear God, I thank You for Your Word that directs my steps like a well-lighted path on a dark night. You always show me the way to go and I thank You for leading me.
