Greetings,
God gets angry, but His anger only lasts for a moment. On the other hand, His favor lasts for a lifetime!
Psalm 30:5 (NKJV) – “For His anger is but for a moment, His favor is for life; Weeping may endure for a night, But joy comes in the morning.”
How precious it is for the favor of God to rest upon us as long as we live—and then to rest upon our children and grandchildren? That’s what happened to both Abraham and David!
Lord, I pray that Your favor will be upon me all of my days; then upon my children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren for as long as they shall continue to live. Your favor causes things to happen that human time, effort, and right connections could never achieve.
Help me to be so pleasing to You, my lifetime will never be long enough to experience all that You have chosen for me and my offspring to experience. I love You, Lord!
